In Uganda, ACCA operates as part of its international presence, providing an accounting qualification recognized worldwide. ACCA focuses on equipping professionals with strong financial and management skills, ethical conduct, and the ability to work across industries. Members undergo rigorous training and examinations, and ACCA is highly regarded for its standards in financial reporting, auditing, and taxation.
The Uganda Human Resource Managers’ Association (UHRMA) is a professional body representing Human Resource (HR) practitioners in Uganda. It aims to advance the HR profession by providing education, professional development, and networking opportunities for HR professionals. UHRMA advocates for best practices in human resource management, promoting ethical HR conduct, labor rights, and compliance with Uganda’s employment laws. The association also helps organizations build effective HR policies to improve productivity and employee well-being
Local Councils (LCs) in Uganda are grassroots administrative units responsible for governance at the village, parish, sub-county, and district levels. Zimba Women is an organization based in Uganda that aims to close the market access gap for women-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
